
Group Sound Meditation
Everyone is sending energy from their heart space into the universe. Sound vibrations heal by bringing the vibrations of our bodies back into harmony.
My own mental health issues and anxiety are what brought me to sound healing. I started going to group sound meditations to cope, because I loved how they made me feel. I was able to release a lot of things: fear, grief, trauma. It helped with the emotional clearing of all these tough feelings. Plus, I experienced a huge shift in my anxiety.
I was amazed at how much the group experience affected not only me, but everyone else in the room. We’re all having our own experience in the moment: that’s the beautiful thing about a group sound meditation.
The science of sound healing is solid — everything is made up of vibrations, and of course influencing those vibrations changes how we feel — but it’s the foundation of care and wellness, seeing people as individuals with unique needs and being able to help them on the most essential level, that makes sound healing such a powerful modality.

What’s it like?
Group sound meditations are the ultimate in rest and relaxation. First, we’ll center our energy together, and then you’ll lie down on your mat and use your choice of blankets and bolsters to get as comfortable as possible. You can also choose to be seated in a chair, if it’s more comfortable for you. Being cozy and relaxed allows you to focus fully on the experience.
As the vibrations wash over you, your mind may wander. You might even fall asleep. This is okay! In these cases, you simply refocus your attention on the present moment and continue to absorb the experience. You’re also free to reposition as needed.
The meditation with conclude with gentle prompts to bring your attention back to the space, and we’ll slowly come back to seated. Expect to feel relaxed, balanced and calm.
